ITINERARY

DAY 1: ARRIVAL TO BOGOTÁ CITY

Transfer El Dorado International Airport to hotel. Meeting with the leader guide of Bogota Birding & Colombia Wildlife Tours. If you like you can to visit around Bogota attractions, such as the Gold Museum (Museo del Oro), Cerro Monserrate, or the Candelaria neighbourhood. Night: Hotel Hilton Garden Inn Bogota Airport or Hotel Aloft Bogota Airport

DAY 2: BOGOTA TO MITÚ – BIRDING IN PUEBLO NUEVO

Very morning we will transfer from hotel to El Dorado airport to take a flight Bogotá to Mitú. Birding in Pueblo Nuevo and on the road.

DAY 3: URANIA

Secondary forest and dry forest. Very easily accesible to 10 minute from Mitú.

DAY 4: CAJURE TRAIL

This lies on the north bank of the Rio Vaupes. Tall terra firme, varzea and different types of white-sand forest.

Primary and secondary terra-firme and white-sand forest, mostly all humid varillal.

White-sand forest, mostly dry varillal with patches of humid chamizal and scrub.

Birding in the white-sand forest. Humid stunted forest with understory at different stages of development and black water pools.

Birding in tall terra firme site and primary forest

DAY 9: MITUSEÑO FOREST – MITÚ TO BOGOTÁ CITY
